  1. Prepaid meter should be written in law, because the tenant will see real time what he is using, the landlord will get his electricity money, the Council will get there money and so Eskom will be paid as well. It makes the collection easier and there are no write off by Councils.

  2. I think prepaid meters are the best way to monitor your electricity usage. At the beginning of the month you can draw up a budget, and will not have to worry about a huge electricity bill at the end of the month.
